1. The Quest: Understanding Our Shop & You

1.2 Website Vibe: We operate with a fun, engaging, and narrative-driven style, treating every transaction as part of your personal fandom journey. However, behind the quest logs and guild references, we are a serious business committed to clear communication and reliable service.

1.3 Agreement to Quest Rules: By using our site, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent, and you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.

2. Loot Description: Products & Services

2.1 Product Range: We sell officially licensed and curated merchandise including but not limited to: Apparel, Plushies, Drinkware (CosCups), Homeware, Gaming Accessories, Books, and Fancy Dress/Cosplay items. Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided with as much detail as possible.

2.2 Accuracy & Changes: We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that colors on your screen perfectly match the physical product. We reserve the right to update product info, discontinue items, or correct errors without prior notice.

2.3 “No-Respawn” Items (Final Sale): Certain items, due to their nature, are marked as non-returnable unless defective. This includes:

• Fancy Dress & Cosplay Items (hygiene reasons)
• Drinkware & CosCups (health/safety after opening)
• Personalized or Custom Items
• Digital Goods & Downloadable Content
• Clearance or Final Sale items (clearly marked)

3. Placing Your Order: The Purchase Contract

3.1 Order Process: Adding an item to your cart is an invitation to treat. A contract between you and Just Geek Shop is only formed when we send you an order confirmation email.

3.2 Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before shipment, including for: pricing errors, suspected fraud, stock unavailability, or inability to ship to your location.

3.3 User’s Responsibility: It is your responsibility to provide a correct and deliverable shipping address and up-to-date contact information. We are not liable for orders lost due to incorrect details provided by you.

4. Payment & Pricing

4.1 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. All transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway partners.

4.2 Pricing & Currency: All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). We aim to ensure accurate pricing, but in the rare event of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4.3 Sales Tax: Applicable sales tax will be added to orders as required by law, based on the shipping destination.

5. The Shipping Saga

5.1 Processing & Dispatch: Orders are processed at our “Guild Hall” in Chicago within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation.

5.2 Shipping Regions: We ship globally, but cannot deliver to some parts of Asia and certain remote regions due to carrier restrictions. It is your responsibility to check if we ship to your country before ordering.

5.3 Shipping Methods & Costs:

• Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL or FedEx. Estimated delivery 10-15 business days after dispatch.
• Free Shipping: For orders over $50, via EMS. Estimated delivery 15-25 business days after dispatch.

5.4 Customs & Import Duties: For international orders, you are solely responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes levied by your country. These are not included in our prices or shipping costs.

6. The Return & Exchange Codex

6.1 Eligibility Window: You have 15 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange for eligible items.

6.2 Condition Requirement: To qualify, items must be:

• Unused, in mint condition, and in original packaging.
• Include all tags, accessories, and manuals.
• Accompanied by the original proof of purchase (order number).

6.3 The Return Process (Your Quest):

1. Initiate: Email [email protected] within 15 days of delivery.
2. Receive RMA: We’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and Chicago return address.
3. Pack & Ship: Securely pack the item with the RMA number inside. You are responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping unless we sent the wrong or a defective item.
4. Inspection & Resolution: We inspect upon receipt (1-2 days). If approved, your refund or exchange is processed.

6.4 Refunds:

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of approval.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
• For exchanges, we cover standard shipping for the replacement.

7. Intellectual Property: Respect the Fandom

7.1 Our Content: All website content (logos, text, graphics, quest narratives) is owned by Just Geek Shop or our licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

7.2 Licensed Merchandise: The products we sell feature characters, logos, and designs that are the intellectual property of their respective rights holders (e.g., game studios, anime publishers). These are used under license. Purchasing an item does not grant you any IP rights to the characters or designs depicted.

7.3 User-Generated Content: If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for promotional purposes.

8. Liability Limitation & Disclaimer

8.1 General: Just Geek Shop provides the website and products “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure service.

8.2 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Geek Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or anticipated savings.

8.3 Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the total purchase price of the specific item(s) in that order.

8.4 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, supply chain issues, etc.).

9. General Provisions

9.1 Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.

9.2 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9.3 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation via our Support Guild. Failing that, the exclusive jurisdiction shall be the state or federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois.

9.4 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
